Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes continued his impressive form for the Red Devils with another goal in Sunday's Premier League clash with West Brom.
Only Messi, Lewandowski have been involved in more goals
The Portugal international's volley at The Hawthorns took him to 22 goals in 38 top-flight appearances since making his United debut on 1 February 2020, adding to his 16 assists.
Fernandes' 38 combined goals and assists is bettered only by Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski in Europe's top five leagues.
Barcelona forward Messi and Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski have both been directly involved in 44 goals over that same period.
Fernandes' impact second only to Cole in Premier League
Only former United striker Andy Cole has been directly involved in more Premier League goals (46 – 33 scored, 13 assisted) after 38 matches than Fernandes.
Fernandes' 44th-minute goal was only enough to earn a draw for United, who had fallen behind to Mbaye Diagne's early opener for struggling West Brom.
The result leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men seven points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
