We now have just eight sides who remain on the 'Road to Istanbul' with FC Porto delivering the biggest shock in the round of 16 fixtures as they dumped Juve and Cristiano Ronaldo out of the competition on away goals. Three English sides remain in the competition with no Serie A representative and just Real Madrid flying the flag for LaLiga, which will no doubt prompt, the classic: "Which is the best league in Europe" debate. So, we hear you ask... when is the draw for the next stage of the competition?

When is the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals?

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals & the semi-finals will be held on Friday 19 March at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland at 12:00 CET. You can find out when that is in your part of the world.

The event will be streamed live on UEFA.com, and you'll also be able to follow live-text coverage with AS English. We’ll begin our build-up from about an hour beforehand, before taking you through the ties as they are pulled out of the hat and bringing you all the post-draw reaction.

How will the Champions League quarter-final draw work?

Now the final eight teams have been confirmed, each will be drawn from a pot to decide who faces each other and who plays at home first.

The line-up for the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals is now complete, Note that there are no seedings or country protection although if there are to be any restrictions - possibly due to covid-19 protocols - they will be announced ahead of the draw.

The following eight teams have qualified for the quarter-finals:

Borussia Dortmund (GER)

Liverpool (ENG)

Manchester City (ENG)

Paris Saint-Germain (FRA)

Porto (POR)

Real Madrid (ESP)

Chelsea (ENG)

FC Bayern (GER)

The semi-final draw will follow the quarter-final draw and again there will be no seedings or country protection.
