Mané couldn't be prouder of Liverpool despite current difficulties

The Senegalese prolific winger spoke about the tough situation Liverpool are experiencing nowadays especially in the Premier League, expressing his pride to be part of such a great team.

Liverpool winger Sadio Mané spoke to "Liverpool Echo" about the Reds' current tough situation explaining that this is a part of the game. He also stated how proud he is to be a member of such a great group.

"I feel prouder than ever, being a Liverpool player," the 28-year-old said. "Let's be honest, we are having a tough time and this happens sometimes to clubs. It's also part of football" he added.

Mane: We need to find solutions, not excuses

The Senegalese international also noted the team has to cope with the current situation and never stop believing. He believes that players need to keep themselves motivated and to find a solution to the current situation not to make excuses.

Mané also praised the quality of the Reds players that he sees in the dressing room stressing that being among this group of great players always energizes him and gives him hope that the future will be brighter.

When asked how the Reds can get through the difficult times, they are experiencing Mane responded" noting but sticking together, being positive and to fight. This what we are trying to do and I am sure we will change this status".

The highly-ranked winger concluded his statements by saying "I'm happy and I really enjoy playing games with my teammates at Liverpool".

Liverpool are currently seventh in the league standings on 46 points withn 29 games played.
