The Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks are tied at 2-2 going into Game 5. Joel Embiid, who has been battling a a knee injury, is listed as doubtful.
Philadelphia and Atlanta are locked at a 2-2 tie heading into Game 5 as the series returns to the city of brotherly love. Atlanta survived a tight contest on Monday night, thanks to Trae Young and a big third quarter run.
Both teams have registered a home and away win through the four games. Atlanta won the first and the last of the four games, with Philly wrapping up Games 2 and 3.
All eyes going into Wednesday’s matchup will be on Joel Embiid, who went to the locker room for medical attention in the second quarter of the last game. The Philly big man returned shortly after, but the halftime break seemed to stiffen that right knee that has given him so many problems. The MVP went 0-12 from the field in the second half.
Embiid tore part of the cartilage in his knee in the first round series against the Wizards. Doc Rivers’ side is already hampered by injuries. Danny Green was diagnosed with a calf strain that will keep him out for two weeks.
Atlanta’s 18 point comeback was triggered in the third quarter when John Collins had two tip slams to ignite the crowd and bring the Hawks back to life. Young followed up by leading the charge to take Game 4, scoring 25 points.

The fifth game of the Eastern Conference semis between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks will take place on Wednesday 16 June at the Wells Fargo Center. The game gets underway at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT.
