Judo
Day 2 of the Tokyo 2020 in Judo competition starts off with the women's 52kg elimination rounds, followed by the quarter-finals. The men's 66kg continues and will also have the elimination rounds ending in the quarter-finals.
In the evening, the women's Judo will have the semifinals, followed by the men. The 52kg women's competition will have its medal contest first with bronze and later the gold. Judo ends with the men's 66Kg finals.

Soccer
Today the men get back to the action. The first outing had Argentina lose against Australia in one of the first upsets of the competition. France will try to shake up their loss against Mexico, and Brazil will look to cement their favorites standing.

Swimming
The swimming heats will start at 6 am. Katie Ledecky will swim in the 400m freestyle qualifying heat at 7:20 am.
In the early sessions, Kieran Smith took bronze in the men's 400-meter freestyle. In the women's 400m IM, Emma Weyant and Hali Flickinger took silver and bronze. Chase Kalisz took gold in the 400m individual medley.

Fencing
Medals are awarded in the women's individual foil and men's individual epee competitions at the Tokyo Olympics. Today the women will have their semifinal and their final. Fencing will end the day with Men's Individual Epee at 8:15 am Est.

Men's Basketball preliminary round
Team USA will face France in the first game of their Olympic adventure. Featuring players like Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard and Brooklyn Nets Small Forward Kevin Durant the team struggled in their exhibition games. Bradley Beal had to drop out of competition due possible COVID contact. Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Devin Booker could not join the team in time due to the the NBA finals and had only two prctices with the team before today's game.
