That's all from us tonight, on a night when Real Madrid ran riot at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Madrid were excellent over the 90 minutes and move back to the top of the table with the convincing win. Marco Asensio is the hero on the night, scoring a hat-trick but Madrid were super throughout.

Real Madrid 6-1 Mallorca

The goal has been given!

Sastre has blood in his mouth from falling on Vinicius' boot but it's totally accidental.

The referee is going to have a look at this one...

84

GOAL!

ISCO passes in Madrid's sixth of the night!

80

Double change for Real Madrid:

OFF Benzema & Nacho

ON Jovic & Santos

Benzema controls the ball with his back and shoots beyond Reina. Eight goals in six games for the Frenchman in La Liga. He is on fire!

78

Goooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaal!!!

BENZEMA gets his second of the night!

Luka Jovic is about to come in for Madrid.

77

Kang-In Lee crosses his free to the back post but Battaglia can't jump high enough to keep it down.

76

Mallorca change

OFF Lago Junior

ON Mboula

72

OFF Rodrygo

ON Lucas Vázquez

72

And the biggest ovation of the night is for Marco Asensio.

Isco comes on in his place.

68

Lago Junior sends his strike just wide of the Madrid goal. He spins in the 6-yard box but can't keep it on target. He has been lively tonight. Kang-In Lee has also impressed.

67

Mallorca have some quality going forward and they aren't giving up here just yet. Lago Junior wins a free and Nacho gets booked for bringing him down.

Madrid have now scored 19 goals in 6 La Liga games this season and look like such a threat under Ancelotti.

64

Kang-In Lee shoots!

His long-range effort takes a big deflection and lands in Courtois' hands. 4-1

That is a wise decision on Ancelotti's part, taking off Camavinga, who is on a yellow card.

Real Madrid change:

OFF Camavinga

ON Blanco

Real Madrid 4-1 Mallorca

Asensio hasn't celebrated any of his goals of course, as he is playing against his former team!

Benzema picks out Asensio on the edge of the box, he works a yard for himself before curling a left-footed effort beyond Reina into the bottom left-hand corner. Excellent strike!

55

Asensio scores his hat-trick!

53

Mallorca have their first corner of the game!

Kang-In Lee picks out Hoppe at the back post. The ball falls perfectly on his foot but he can't keep it down.

It remains Real Madrid 3-1 Mallorca

The goal has been ruled out for a foul from Benzema on Sastre.

49

GOAL!!!!

Rodrygo races down the right before squaring to Benzema. It's going to VAR!

48

VINICIUS!

Oh he really has to score there. He sends Sastre to the cleaners but hits his shot straight at Reina.

47

Camavinga picks up a yellow card for a late tackle.

46

Mallorca get us underway!

OFF Take Kubo

ON Baba

Mallorca are going to make a change.

The players are back out on the pitch for the second half.

HT: Real Madrid 3-1 Mallorca

Madrid were totally dominant in the opening 45 minutes and could be ahead by even more.

45

Reina saves from Vinicius. The keeper gets down well to keep the scoreline at 3-1. There will be two added minutes at the end of the 45'.

43

ASENSIO SHOOTS!

His confidence is through the roof after two early goals but this effort is straight at Reina from 20 yards.

Luis García will need a half-time master plan to turn this one around.

42

The stretchers were out for the former Schalke player but he's ready to come back on. Mallorca need him, as they trail 3-1.

The American striker is now back on his feet which is good news.

41

Matthew Hoppe is down for Mallorca. Let's hope he is ok.

The Bernabéu loves Vini Jr!

38

Madrid are flying here. Mallorca's defence cannot deal with the threat from the front four of Asensio, Rodrygo, Vinicius and Benzema.

Benzema heads it back across the 6-year line before Valjent blocks Asensio's effort on the line.

35

Asensio goes so close to socring a hat-trick.

This could be 6-1!

34

Vinicius nutmegs Battaglia like he's on the beach in Rio but sends his effort high over Reina's crossbar.

This time it's Benzema with the assist for Asensio, who takes his goal really well after bursting through the defence.

Real Madrid 3-1 Mallorca

29

GOAL MADRID!

Asensio scores his second and Madrid's third of the game with just 29 minutes played.

Mallorca back in the game!

Real Madrid 2-1 Mallorca

25

GOAL!

And Mallorca go up the end other end and score straight away!

Kang-In Lee takes his goal superbly well.

24

Gooooooooooooooaaaaaaal!

ASENSIO makes it TWO!

20

LAGO JUNIOR!

Kang-In Lee flicks it into Lago Junior, who unleashes a shot over Courtois' bar. Another slick move by the islanders and Junior's second strike in as many minutes. 1-0

18

An excellent move by Mallorca sees Lago Junior strike an effort at goal but Nacho slides across to block the shot. Mr Reliable, Nacho, is playing at right-back tonight to cover for the injured Dani Carvajal.

Camavinga is sitting in Casemiro's role tonight. The Brazilian midfielder is getting a much-needed rest!

14

Miguel Gutierrez looks to pick out Benzema at the front post but it's cleared.

It has been quite the start to life in the Spanish capital for Camavinga, with one goal and one assist in his first two games.

10

Camavinga, on his first start for Real Madrid, shows some lovely footwork in the middle of the park to get away from his man.

7

Asensio almost scores from a corner!

The Spaniard curls a wonderful cross goalward. Reina spills it and it just manages to stay out. A very lively start here!

5

Kubo finds himself in behind the Madrid defence on the right wing, but sends his left-footed effort across Courtois' goal and out for a goalkick.

Real Madrid 1-0 Mallorca

Benzema now has seven goals in La Liga this season!

Real Madrid team news, possible starting XI against Real Mallorca

Real Madrid go into their clash with Real Mallorca on Wednesday night with six players out injured - Gareth Bale, Dani Carvajal, Dani Ceballos, Toni Kroos, Marcelo and Ferland Mendy - but welcome Mariano Díaz back to fitness.

Díaz missed Sunday’s away win over Valencia with a groin problem, but trained as normal on Monday and Tuesday and has returned to the Madrid squad for the La Liga week-six match-up with Mallorca at the Bernabéu (10pm CEST; 4pm EDT).

The other major squad news is head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s decision to include 20-year-old full-back Sergio Santos, who also featured in four matchday groups under Zinedine Zidane last season, but is yet to make his first-team debut.

The visit of Mallorca is the first of three home games for Madrid in the space of a week, with Los Blancos to face Villarreal in La Liga on Saturday and FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League on Tuesday.
