How and where to watch Jets vs Colts
The Indianapolis Colts will host the New York Jets to kick off Week 9 of the NFL regular season. The game will begin at 8:20 p.m. ET from Lucas Oil Stadium
Week 9 on the NFL season will begin in Indianapolis as the 3-5 Colts host the two-win New York Jets from Lucas Oil Stadium.
Both teams were involved in 34-31 games last week. The Colts were on the wrong side of the scoreboard against Tennessee, but the Jets took down the Cincinnati Bengals to double their win total.
It hasn’t been pretty for the Jets this year, but they have summoned two wins against two top teams in the AFC, which might be enough to construct some confidence as we enter the second half of the season.
New York has suffered some brutal defeats this season, and their offense at time has looked stagnant at times but they handed the Titans one of their two defeats on the year, and the Bengals their third loss of the season last week.
Back up quarterback Mike White got the start against the the Bengals last week with rookie quarterback Zach Wilson nursing a knee injury. White went for over 400 yards and three touchdowns in his first start of his NFL career. White is expected to start again with Wilson still injured.
Indy almost clipped the Titans last week
The Colts were unfortunate not to pull off the home victory against the Titans last week. It was there chance to go back to .500 on the season after a rough start to the season in which they went 0-3.
Before the loss to the Titans, Indy had won three of four in October. Carson Wentz seems to be settling into the Colts offense and Johnathan Taylor is looking more and more dangerous as the season goes on.
Wentz and the Colts will have to take care of business at home if they want to stay in the race in the AFC South.
