Real Madrid reach 1,000 goals in Europe's elite competition
Record 13-time winners Real Madrid created even more European Cup/Champions League history during the 2-0 victory against Inter Milan on Tuesday.

The Germany international put the 13-time winners ahead in the 17th minute at the Santiago Bernabéu to provide the springboard for Madrid's 2-0 victory, which ensured they would go into the last 16 draw as a top seed and avoid the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester City.
