In 1998, the Brit started his racing career after joining the McLaren young driver programme, and in 2007 he became an official Formula 1 driver following an impressive debut with McLaren. Only a year after, Hamilton won his first World Championship in 2008, sharing his talent with the racing world and beyond.

Hamilton went on to do big things when he signed with Mercedes in 2013, winning a further six titles (2014-2015, 2017-2020) to become the joint-record winner of a total of seven World Championship titles (tied with Michael Schumacher), with a breaking record of the most wins (103), pole positions (103), and podium finishes (181).
