The Los Angeles Rams and the Arizona Cardinals battle it out for the top spot of the NFC West Division on Monday Night Football at State Farm Stadium. The Cardinals are already leading the division with a 10-2 slate, but the Rams are right at their heels in second place at 8-4.

An Arizona win would solidify their position at the top and send them well on their way to being the number one seed in the NFC playoff scene, while Los Angeles will try to bounce back to becoming a contender after losing three of their past games.

Other NFL stories:

The best NFL team

The Cardinals are favored to win the home game, as they already delivered a conclusive 37-20 thrashing of the Rams during their Week 4 tilt at SoFi Stadium.

Arizona has the best performance among all NFL teams so far this season. Their offense looks intimidating, with Kyler Murray ready to return to action. He will be working with DeAndre Hopkins and James Conner, who has scored 14 touchdowns this season.

Trying to stay in the game

Los Angeles, meanwhile, has seen below par performance in their last few outings, losing three consecutive games before finally managing a win over the 2-11 Jacksonville Jaguars last week.

However, the Rams have had much success against the Cardinals in past matchups, racking up eight consecutive wins before their loss earlier this season. They have also acquired Odell Beckham Jr. since that time. And If Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and Von Miller are able to work their elite magic together, they might be able to keep the Cardinals’ offense at bay.
