The Steelers have proven themselves battle worthy this season, such that they could very well orchestrate an upset. The Chiefs, however, are starting to click and that's that.

The Steelers need it. The Chiefs, not so much

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be keenly focused on bringing an end to Kansas City's winning streak in Week 16. With a record of 7-6-1 and having just claimed an impressive win against the Tennessee Titans, the Steelers find themselves in a must-win game against the Chiefs. Pittsburgh will enter the game as underdogs, but it's a role in which they have performed very well this season. The aforementioned win against the Titans will of course give them confidence, however, it should be said that they gave up over 100 yards rushing to D’Onta Foreman.

On the other side of the divide, we have Kansas City. The Chiefs aren't in the same boat as the Steelers, in fact they’re the only team in the AFC with double-digit wins at this point. With a record of 10-4, Kansas City comes into the game with the longest active win streak in the NFL. October 24th was the last time they lost, which is to say they're on a seven-game win streak. Along the way they've beaten a host of the league's best such as the Green Bay Packers - without Aaron Rodgers - the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders (twice) and the Los Angeles Chargers to name a few. It can be argued with reason that the Chiefs haven't always looked their best across the streak, however, the fact remains they're playing some high level football and they've got seven straight wins to prove it.

While the Steelers have shown themselves to be hard to beat this season, the fact remains they are yet to show themselves capable of handling the running game. The Chiefs on the other hand have demonstrated consistently how good they are on both sides of the ball. If Pittsburgh gets out with a win, it will be because they play a great game, not because the Chiefs misfire.
