Steffan gets first start of the year
Steffen returned to Manchester and was able to recover for the FA Cup 4th round match against Fulham. Zack Steffen started the game and only received one goal in the Citizens’ 4-1 victory to advance to the next round of the tournament.
This was his seventh appearance across all competitions this campaign and he has conceded a total of six goals. Zack Steffen has only been able to keep the clean sheet twice and as the team managed by Pep Guardiola advances in the tournament, he will see more playing time.
Steffen should return to action until 2 March when Manchester City goes on the road to play Peterborough for the 5th round of the FA Cup. He will see the next five games from the bench, since he serves as the second option for Ederson.
