Super Bowl LVI 2022 Halftime Show: time, TV channel, and how to watch online
Dr. Dre is leading the way at halftime of Super Bowl LVI, accompanied by his protégés Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar. Where to watch here
During Super Bowl LVI this Sunday, football and music fans will turn their attention to the performers at the halftime show at the end of the second quarter of the Rams vs Bengals game.
And unlike any other year, this halftime show will be all about rap with a touch of hip-hop featuring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige. Mickey Guyton will sing the national anthem, and Six-time Grammy-nominated artist Jhené Aiko will start off the night with “America the Beautiful” ahead of the anthem.
The artists have a combined 43 Grammys and 19 No.1 Billboard albums to their name, and this is the first time that so many Grammy winners are performing together at half-time. But while the exciting show is highly expected by millions around the world, it lasts for a fairly short time.
What time is the Super Bowl?
The game will air LIVE on NBC and Peacock with the road to Super Bowl coverage beginning at 12:00 p.m. ET. The pregame show starts at 1:00 pm ET, and the game kicks off at 6:00 pm ET. The halftime show will probably kick off right after 8 p.m. ET, depending on how the first half of the Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals game goes.
