Three years later, Barcelona are back on tour, returning to the United States, a country where the club has a lot of business interests.

AS understands that the Blaugrana will tour the West Coast of the United States this summer, where they plan to play three to four friendlies. Real Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan are three possible opponents for the Catalan club.

The exact dates have not yet been finalised, nor have the opponents. In the event that Barcelona win the Europa League, they would play in the European Super Cup against the winner of the Champions League and therefore have to carefully schedule the overseas trip. The Super Cup final will be played on 10 August in Helsinki.

Friendlies in the US

One of the cities that the team will visit this summer is Las Vegas, where they will have a friendly match. They are also trying to plan another friendly in Los Angeles and another in another city on the West Coast to complete a tour that would last between 10 and 12 days.

In August 2019, the team, then managed by Ernesto Valverde, travelled to Miami and Michigan, to play two friendlies against Napoli. That was the last tour the team undertook, as the pandemic put a halt to travel across the world.
