NBA schedule: Wednesday, March 16th

The top team in the league hits the hardwood, while direct rivals will go head to head in battles of Play-In positioning in the East and two of the top players in the league go head to head in Brooklyn.

Hawks vs. Hornets

The first of the twelve games games tips off from Charlotte between two teams battling to keep alive in the Play-In race. If the season ended today the Hornets and the Atlanta Hawks would be in the Play-In but just barely. The two will go head-to head tonight from the Spectrum Center looking to improve their position as the end of the regular season nears.

Tip off: 7:00 p.m. ET from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Sixers vs. Cavs

Around the same time the new glam boys in the East, the Philadelphia 76ers, will square up against the Cavaliers from Cleveland. The Sixers had a rough last week after a dream start to the James Harden/Joel Embiid partnership. They face a battered Cleveland team trying to hang on to playoff positioning in the East.

Tip off: 7:00 p.m. ET from Cleveland, Ohio.

Suns vs. Rockets

The Phoenix Suns take their best record in the league on the road to take on the Houston Rockets. It’s a battle of the top team in the league against the bottom team in the league, but don’t let that fool you. Houston beat the Lakers and the second placed Grizzlies last week and will be looking to do the same against a Suns team without Chris Paul.

Tip off: 8:00 p.m. ET from Houston Texas

Mavs vs. Nets

Two of the NBA’s top talents hit the hardwood in Brooklyn as Luka Doncic and Kevin Durant go head-to-head. The Dallas Mavericks have been rolling over the last month, and the Nets look to have turned things around over the last week. Both teams are looking to climb up their respective conference standings as the Nets will be without Kyrie Irving who put up 60 last night in Orlando.

Tip off: 8:30 p.m. ET from Brooklyn, New York
