Access Earth joins SIGA to press for change
Inclusion and Diversity were at the heart of the partnership sealed in Miami, during the SIGA GRID Forum.
Sport Integrity Global Alliance or SIGA is the world's largest coalition in the field of sports governance and integrity. With more than 100 international multi-industry supporters, SIGA is an independent organization whose mission is to bring about meaningful reforms and enhance the integrity of all sports through a set of universal standards.
SIGA brings together sports, governments, academia, international organizations, sponsors, business, rights holders, NGOs and professional services companies, from all over the world around a common cause of fostering greater integrity in sports. AS USA is a proud media partner of SiGA.

Access Earth joins SIGA
Access Earth is the latest member to join SIGA during the SIGA Gender, Race, Inclusion and Diversity (GRID) Forum hosted by Soccerex Americas, in Miami.
The agreement further signals SIGA’s intent to press for positive change around core inclusivity and accessibility principles, amongst their other Sport Integrity Reform Objectives. The MoU establishes a base for collaborative action moving forwards that delivers upon mutual goals and builds upon the conclusions of the SIGA GRID Forum (read here).
Access Earth is the latest in a growing group of new members to have joined the collective in 2022: following other entities such as the Portuguese Swimming Federation and the Azores Government.
Accessibility spells inclusion
Commenting on the new partnership, the SIGA Global CEO, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, stated:
“Without accessibility there is no inclusion in Sport. As a matter of fact, there’s no Sport. This is one of the many reasons why SIGA is delighted to welcome Access Earth as the latest member to join our global coalition.
