The Dallas Mavericks host the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday as they look to climb up the Western Conference standings ahead of their four-game road trip.

Dallas is coming out of a Sunday victory over the Utah Jazz, holding the No. 4 seed in the West, and winning six of their last nine games.

Point guard Luka Doncic led the Mavericks’ victory with 32 points, 10 rebounds, five assists on 11-of-21 from the field and 4-of-7 from the 3-point line.

Following the win, Doncic said that it’s still a long way to go for the Mavericks before he added that they “still got to keep our composure, focus on the next opponent and try to win every game.”

Is Luka Doncic playing tonight vs. Lakers?

Luckily for Dallas, Doncic will play against the Lakers on Tuesday as he is not listed on the injury report. Doncic and the Mavericks are trying to get the home advantage and go after the Golden State Warriors for the No. 3 seed.

"When you’re four you have the home advantage and that’s a big thing,” said the 23-year-old. “We never had it since I’ve been here. So, I think we’re trying to get the home advantage for sure.

"If the Warriors lose and we win two we’re right there, and that’s even better than fourth place.”

Doncic has been outstanding this season so far, averaging 27.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists on 45.4 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from the 3-point line.
