Gisele Bündchen’s new baby draws reaction from ex-husband Tom Brady
The Brazilian supermodel has had her third child, her first since her split from the legendary NFL quarterback.
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has welcomed her third child into the world, her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, which has drawn a reaction from ex-husband Tom Brady.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that Bündchen had given birth “recently” and that the “super happy” Brazilian and the baby were “healthy.” Little else has been made public knowledge, so we’re none the wiser on the sex and the name at present.
Brady sends message to Bündchen after new baby
Thanks to Page Six, however, we do know that Brady has been in touch with his ex to congratulate her and Valente, and wish them “nothing but the best”.
Brady and Bündchen began dating in December 2006, the same month the NFL star split from actress Bridget Moynahan. The couple married in February 2009 and had two children (son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12) before announcing their divorce in October 2022.
“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Brady said on social media at the time. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve”.
Brady’s message of goodwill suggests the pair have managed to remain on good terms. Bündchen is also known to have kept close ties with the former football player’s 17-year-old son Jack, who is from his earlier relationship with Moynahan.
Who is Joaquim Valente?
Joaquim Valente, Bündchen’s current partner and the father of her third child, is also Brazilian. Along with his two brothers, he is a well-known Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) instructor in Miami. It was revealed in 2021 that the model had begun taking classes with the Valiente Brothers.
Valente and Bündchen began dating after her split from Brady and announced in October 2024 they were expecting their first child together.
