The Salvadoran capital, San Salvador, will be the venue for the latest edition of the Miss Universe global beauty pageant this weekend.

This weekend, El Salvador is to host the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant, the most prestigious international beauty contest.

The event is to be presented by former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, TV host Jeannie Mai, and the actor and journalist Maria Menounos.

In addition to the contest itself, Miss Universe 2023 will include a live musical performance by 12-time Grammy winner John Legend.

Can US win Miss Universe yet again?

At José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, the United States will be seeking back-to-back Miss Universe crowns, having secured a record ninth title when Texas’ R’Bonney Gabriel took the 2022 spoils in January.

The US will be represented at Miss Universe 2023 by Utah’s Noelia Voigt, who earned her place at the contest when she was named Miss USA in October.

Miss Universe 2023: what time, how to watch?

Miss Universe 2023 takes place on Saturday 18 November 2023, and is scheduled to get underway at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Viewers in the US will be able to watch the pageant on The Roku Channel and Telemundo.
