Airing on NBC, millions of viewers will be tuning in to the new season of The Voice tonight, Monday September 23, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

As well as those taking part, much of the attention that is drawn to the show is for the coaches and Season 26 will see Gwen Stefani return along with Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble. And for those putting the show together, they know that getting the big name stars onboard involves rather sizeable contracts, with fans keen to know how much Stefani and others are being paid.

The No Doubt founder is said to have chosen a return to the popular show over going on tour with her band, which had been talked about after the success of the Coachella appearance. But she has $13 million providing a suitable temptation to keep her coaching, for this season anyway, as next time out the line-up has Michael, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend and Adam Levine in store for us.

How does Stefani’s salary compare to other coaches on The Voice?

From the multiple reports out there, it would appear that the $13 million being paid to Stefani is in the upper payment structure for coaches on the show. This is said to be on par with the likes of John Legend, Reba McEntire and Miley Cyrus, for example.

Those reported to be reaping greater rewards are few and far between. Kelly Clarkson debuted in season 14 and was said to be paid $15 million, while Ariana Grande tops the lot at somewhere between $20-$25 million, the highest ever by some distance. Most others have been pulling in around $8 million per season.
