Gascón was raised in Spain before venturing abroad to work in London and Milan, where she secured roles behind the camera. She later took on several minor roles in Spanish television, appearing in various domestic series. However, her career breakthrough came in Mexico with standout performances in Corazón salvaje (2009), El señor de los cielos (2013), and Nosotros, los Nobles (2013).

Who is Marisa Gutiérrez?

When Gascón was 19, she met Marisa Gutiérrez, who was 18, in a Madrid nightclub. While Gascón is now a household name in the world of TV, her private life is a closely guarded affair, and not much is known of her partner.

Unlike most celebrity knowledge, fans don’t know her job or any other information of the sort - just that they share a daughter together and love to travel - highlighted by their multitude of Instagram posts together. She’s an incredibly private person and prefers to keep it that way.

However, we do know that Marisa was and is fully supportive of her wife’s decision in terms of her identity, with the actress telling Telemundo in 2019 that “at first it was very difficult, it was hard because of certain things I had done that I shouldn’t have done, and also because, apart from what I had done, I’m coming back with a very strong change, even though she knew about all this, it has been a very complicated process. Right now we are practically a normal family, but with some circumstances that still prevent us from fully merging into that story.”
