This is what Sophie Turner, the actress who played Sansa Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’, looks like today
The Game of Thrones actress is one of the world’s most beloved faces on television.

Ever since its release on HBO, Game of Thrones has become a worldwide phenomenon. The show captivated the minds of millions across the planet, given George R. R. Martin’s literary world to another dimension.
In the hugely talented cast of actors, Sophie Turner stood out from the start. Playing Sansa Stark, the eldest daughter of Lord Eddard Stark, the plot of Tuner’s character had plenty of twists and turns, propelling her to the top of many people’s list of show favourites.
Turner was born in Northampton in 1996, which sits almost equidistant between Birmingham and London. A member of the local theatre since she was young, Turner’s future was always destined for the screen.
It was initially her drama teacher who encouraged Turner to audition for a role in Game of Thrones and, in August 2009, Turner was cast in her first role for television as Sansa Stark. When filming began, a 14-year-old Turner dyed her naturally blonde hair for the role but began wearing wigs in season seven.

Turner’s divorce aftermath ‘worst days of my life’
Turner married Joe Jonas, the lead singer of the Disney Channel band The Jonas Brothers. However, the relationship ended badly and the couple divorced, with Turner seeing unfiltered, misogynistic criticism from some members of the press.
“They were the worst days of my life,” Turner recently told Vogue. “I remember I was on the set, I had a contract to stay for two more weeks, I couldn’t leave. My daughters were in the United States and I couldn’t see them because I had to finish Juan. That’s when all these articles started coming out... It hurt me because I really torture myself for every decision I make.”
Now 29-years-old, Turner most recently appeared in the highly-acclaimed British drama series Joan as Joan O’Connell-Hannington, a prolific jewel thief in London during the 1980s.
She is set to play Zara in a series for Amazon Prime called Haven, which tells the story of an office worker at a pension fund investment firm who encounters a gang of violent thieves that force her to assist in stealing billions of pounds from ordinary people’s pensions.
