What is Sydney Sweeney’s net worth? How the actress made her millions

The ‘Anyone But You’ star has become one of Hollywood’s leading lights in recent times and has the personal fortune to show for it.

Update:
Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney has firmly established herself as one of Hollywood’s hottest properties, especially after recently being announced as an upcoming host of NBC comedy show Saturday Night Live. While the 26 year old’s star continues to rise, so too does her personal fortune.

Best known for her roles in HBO television series Euphoria and The White Lotus, Sweeney’s newest movie, Madame Web has had poor reviews and hasn’t quite hit box office expectations, proving to be a disappointing follow-up to the successful romantic comedy Anyone But You, which has raked in almost $190 million after its released in December 2023.

Yet Sweeney, engaged to Chicago businessman Jonathan Davino, remains very much in demand, as shown by SNL choosing her as host for their 2 March show, with country singer Kacey Musgraves to appear alongside her as a musical guest.

When did Sydney Sweeney begin her acting career?

The Washington native’s upcoming hosting gig will no doubt bump her bank balance up considerably, not that it needs it. Sweeney will be known to most as an actress, and for good reason. Although her rise to stardom has been a relatively recent one, she has been in the business since 2009, when she was 11 years old.

Her (recent) acting career is obviously one of the main contributors to her reported net worth of $10 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth. Yahoo reported she earned an estimated $350,000 for 13 episodes of Euphoria, and Forbes claiming she made $25,000 per episode during season one of White Lotus.

Endorsements, entrepreneurship and properties add to Sweeney’s personal fortune

But she also has a number of other sources of income. Any big name has several endorsement deals these days, and Sweeney is no different, with Armani, Ford, Bai and Miu Miu among the brands who pay her big bucks to advertise their products.

In addition to appearing on screen, she has an increasingly important role to play behind it, too. Four years ago, she started her own production company, Fifty-Fifty Films, which has several projects currently in development, including The Player’s Table, an adaptation of Jessica Goodman’s novel They Wish They Were Us, for Max.

Sweeney’s growing personal fortune has also allowed her to snap up some serious real estate in California. She bought her first home for $3 million in 2022 in Los Angeles’ Westwood neighbourhood, and later splashed out another $6.2 million on a property in Bel-Air, also in LA.
