At the end of September, Noelia Voigt became the new Miss USA. She will be representing the United States for the next edition of Miss Universe. The 23-year-old Venezuelan-American, is the third woman from Utah to win Miss USA.
The 50 state champions were whittled down to 20 during the first part of the beauty pageant. Who is Noelia Voigt, the Venezuelan who was crowned Miss USA 2023
Noelia Voigt is the daughter of a Venezuelan mother and an American father, professional baseball player Jack David Voigt. She was born and raised in Florida, later she attended the University of Alabama. According to the content of her social networks, Voigt has modelled and been in beauty pageants for nearly a decade, so she was already a familiar face on the pageant circuit.
In addition to beauty pageants, her other passions include volleyball and interior design. She is also author of the anti-bullying children's book “Maddie the BRAVE” and facilitator of the One Love Workshop.

The controversy surrounding Miss USA
After her victory, Voigt became the successor to Miss USA 2022, Morgan Romano, from North Carolina; who was the replacement for R’Bonney Gabriel, from Texas. Gabriel, who was winner of Miss Universe 2022, relinquished the Miss USA crown after her fellow contestants claimed that the pageant had been “rigged” in her favor.
