The final date is quickly approaching to file 2025 tax returns and the IRS isn’t flexible with the deadline.

2026 tax deadline warning: Make sure you file before this critical date in April
The official beginning of the 2025 tax season was back in January. And taxpayers now have just a matter of days to submit their tax returns and pay any outstanding taxes due, with the deadline coming on April 15.
However, it is not worth waiting until the last minute as the sooner you file your taxes, the sooner the IRS can process your refund, if that is what you are owed. However, if you need some more time, you can request a six-month extension.
There are three ways to get an #IRS extension until October 15 to file your tax return:

Missing the deadline can result in charges and penalties
Keep in mind that missing the deadline you may incur charges and late payment penalties. If you need help and assistance in filing tax returns, tax payers can contact the IRS at 800-829-1040 or 800-829-4059. This website may have some useful information as well.
