A naked doodle, Epstein, and a birthday letter Trump calls a fake
The Wall Street Journal published an alleged letter President Trump sent to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday.

The Wall Street Journal published details of the letter, dated 2003, which allegedly features several typed lines surrounded by the outline of a nude woman, drawn in marker. The illustration includes two small curves to represent breasts and is signed by Trump underneath what would be the waist.
According to the report, the letter also contains a fictional conversation between Trump and Epstein, beginning with the line: There must be more to life than having it all.
The exchange continues:
Donald: There is, but I’m not going to tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Neither will I, since I know too.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, come to think of it, we do.
Donald: Riddles never get old, have you noticed?
Jeffrey: Actually, it was clear the last time I saw you.
Donald: A friend is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday - and may every day be another wonderful secret.
The outlet reported that the alleged letter was among several birthday notes compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell into a bound book, which she gifted to Epstein for his 50th birthday.

Trump’s predictable response
On his Truth Social account, Trump responded by calling the letter a “fake.”
”The Wall Street Journal printed a FAKE letter, supposedly to Epstein. These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.
“I told Rupert Murdoch it was a Scam, that he shouldn’t print this Fake Story. But he did, and now I’m going to sue his ass off, and that of his third rate newspaper. Thank you for your attention to this matter! DJT.”
These types of threats haven’t always gone the way he suggests they may.
“No such thing as the Epstein list”
Back in February, Attorney General Pamela Bondi, alongside the FBI, released the first phase of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
“This Department of Justice is delivering on President Trump’s commitment to transparency and lifting the veil on Jeffrey Epstein’s disgusting actions and those of his co-conspirators,” Bondi said at the time. “The first phase of the files released today shines a light on Epstein’s vast network and begins to provide the public with the accountability that should’ve happened long ago.”
Trump’s administration had promised more disclosures, including the much-discussed “Epstein list.” But in recent days, Bondi stated that no such document exists. She also said no further files connected to Epstein’s sex trafficking investigation would be made public. Bondi suggested that Epstein did not have a client list involving underage girls. Previously, she had claimed the “list” was on her desk and that she intended to review it before releasing it.
Trump has since called the Epstein topic a “hoax” pushed by Democrats – boring, in his words – and says he doesn’t understand why people are still talking about it. Given the obvious interest, that in itself may be rather telling.
