Rojas then outlines all the benefits of this food, whose identity he initially withholds. “Why does it work so fast? This fruit is a natural biological bomb – extremely high in vitamin C, fiber that regulates your digestive system and your gut–brain axis, high levels of potassium, and antioxidants that counteract stress-related inflammation,” he explains.

Citing the results of a study published by the British Journal of Nutrition in 2023, the cardiologist reveals that he is talking about kiwis and breaks down the most relevant findings. “Eating two kiwis a day – just that – for two weeks improved overall wellbeing by 60%, reduced fatigue and tiredness by 35%, and significantly lowered stress levels in those who consumed them,” he says.

To wrap up, Rojas highlights what he considers the most striking conclusion of the study. “This research showed something remarkable. Vitamin C helps, but the whole kiwi improves your health far more than taking vitamin C on its own. Energy, rest, mood – and no side effects,” he concludes.
