CMP’s list of power outages in Maine: which areas are without electricity?
Early spring storms have resulted in thousands of residents being left without power as they wake up on Thursday morning.


April showers are a commonly expected weather state at this time of year but more severe conditions are impacting on residents around Maine and further afield. Below we provide you with the total number of affected customers by county and the number of customers without power, as communicated by Central Maine Power

How to prepare for winter storms
The company has advised that the following steps are being taken:

Their advice is that in the event of a life-threatening situation, dial 911. And if your electricity service is out, you are encouraged to notify the CMPCO by reporting an outage online or by calling 800.696.1000 to report an outage.”
