How to prepare for winter storms

The company has advised that the following steps are being taken:

“In anticipation of the incoming Nor’easter, we are in the final stages of pre-staging more than 450 line crews and 250 tree crews across our service area this evening. We will also have additional customer service representatives standing by starting on Wednesday night to assist you in the event outages occur.”

Their advice is that in the event of a life-threatening situation, dial 911. And if your electricity service is out, you are encouraged to notify the CMPCO by reporting an outage online or by calling 800.696.1000 to report an outage.”
