Costco deals in February: Savings for warehouse club members

The Superbowl will be taking place this month and three-quarters of nation plan to watch the action according to the American Sports Fanship Survey. The National Retail Federation says over 112 million Americans plan to throw or attend a viewing party, while another 16 million have plans to watch the biggest American sporting event at a bar or restaurant.

And they will be forking out a fair amount, expected to top $17 billion, around $86 per person, on purchases for the day including apparel, decorations, drinks and food. The last two items account for roughly 80 percent of the total they will spend.

Costco warehouse club members will be happy to know that the retailer has released its latest set of discounts so that they can save some money while prepping their party. Below are some selected deals based on what Americans normally prefer to serve during the Superbowl. These deals will be valid through 25 February.

Finger foods are ideal for the big game as they can generally be set up at strategic locations around the viewing room and house at large. You also don’t need to take your eyes off the action in order to eat them. With that in mind, here are some of food item deals at Costco this month.

Chips top the list of most popular foods for the game, so you can stock up on 30oz bags of Cape Cod Reduced Fat Kettle Potato Chips for $3 off, limited to ten in total. Chicken wings come in third on the list and Costco is knocking $4.50 off three-pound bags of Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips, no limit to how many you can purchase.

Another easy finger food for the game could be spring rolls. You can get $3.50 off on as many three-pound packages of Bibigo’s Vegetable Spring Rolls that you may need.

Costco deals in February: Savings for warehouse club members on beverages

You’ll need something to wash down those finger foods and you’ll be able to save money loading up on sparkling water and caffeinated drinks. 24-count (16.9oz bottles) packages of S. Pellegrino Mineral Water are marked down $5.50 in February. You can purchase up to five. You can get $7.40 off on each of up to three 24-count (16oz cans) packages of Monster Energy drink this month.

Costco deals in February: big screen TVs

Finally, if you don’t think you have enough screen to see all the action Costco is selling Samsung Q70C Series 75″ TVs for $999. That’s $200 less than on Samsung’s website and $800 below the list price for ultra-high definition 4K with a QLED flatscreen.

If 75″ is too much, or not enough, there are also deals on LG UR8000 Series 4K LED TVs ranging from $259.99 to $999.99.
