That’s exactly what happened recently when a beloved Golden Retriever was finally reunited with its “human brother” after months apart, bringing a wave of joy that touched everyone lucky enough to witness it.

The heartwarming moment was captured and shared by the popular Instagram account @The3retrievers, which follows the lives of three golden retrievers and their adventures as a family. In the viral clip, one of the pups is seen spotting its human sibling and instantly bursting with excitement—tail wagging, paws bouncing, unable to contain his happiness. “The happy cries, tail wags, jumps for joy, and hug at the end say it all… don’t ever leave us again, bro!!!” reads the caption.

The content creator behind the account shared how proud she is of her brother’s time abroad in Sydney, Australia, and the travels he was able to experience along the way. But she admits it’s always hard to watch him leave—and she’s not the only one who feels that way. “We definitely missed him!” she wrote, knowing that another goodbye is on the horizon.

Though only one of the golden trio could make it to the airport for the surprise reunion, the rest more than made up for it when their brother arrived home. The video shows them sprinting to greet him, clearly overwhelmed with love.
