The targets included Syria’s military headquarters and another military target near the Syrian presidential palace northwest of Damacus according to the Israel Defense Force.

According to Syria’s Health Ministry 34 people were wounded and three fatalities caused by the bombings..

These strikes follow airstrikes on Monday and Tuesday against Syrian military forces in the southwest of the country after they joined forces with Bedouin militias in ongoing clashes between them and the minority Druze community. Israel says that it is trying to protect the Druze while keeping the area that borders the Golan Heights de-militarized.
