Being the best food doesn’t mean there aren’t others we should incorporate into our diet to lose fat. Eggs, for example, are high in protein and help keep our insulin levels stable, which in turn helps burn fat, especially around the abdominal area. Berries, on the other hand, stand out for their concentration of antioxidants and fiber, which help reduce inflammation and, thanks to their natural sugar content, can be a great substitute for other more harmful sweets.

When it comes to green vegetables, they are essential for sticking to a fat-burning diet. Spinach, kale, collard greens, and romaine lettuce are low-calorie, nutrient-dense foods that are high in water and fiber, which improves digestion and helps us significantly reduce abdominal fat. Sweet potatoes are also a great option for improving our meals, as their high starch and fiber content helps us feel full while stabilizing blood sugar levels.
