Power outages in a few states are causing issues for residents, with some remaining uninformed by their providers as to when the lights will be turned back on.

Outages in California

In the northern country of Mendocino, power outages are being reported. Eleven percent of the more than 54,000 homes powered by Pacific Gas and Electric by PowerOutages.US have no power. PG&E has reported that the outages are part of planned maintenance on the grid. The power should be turned back on a little later in the morning which will be critical as temperatures are on the rise in the area.

Outages in Illinois

Residents of Adams County, where Quincy is the only city among a dozen or so villages, are experiencing outages. Ameren, the largest energy provider in the area, has seen the highest number of outages today. The company has reported that 887 residents are impacted, but the cause remains unknown, and no timeline for when the power will be turned back on has been provided.

Outages in Wisconsin

In Wisconsin, one county is experiencing outages this week: Walworth. The largest towns in the county are Burlington, Delavan, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, and Whitewater. Home to just over 100,000 residents, these outages impact nearly ten percent of the population, as more than 10,000 were reported as of Sunday morning.
