Robert De Niro, father again at 79: What other actors have had children at an old age?
In a recent interview for an upcoming film, the not-so spring chicken revealed the birth of his seventh child but he’s not the oldest new dad in Hollywood.
Robert De Niro has a huge number of accomplishments in his life. He has won oscars, starred in over 100 films, and received medals from presidents. And now he might have added another; becoming the oldest father in Hollywood right now.
De Niro was speaking to ET Canada in an interview for his new film, ‘About My Father’, and the interviewer Brittnee Blair asked him about fatherhood.
At one point Blair said, “I know you have six kids-,” before De Niro corrected her, saying, “Seven, actually. I just had a baby.”
The identity of the mother is currently unknown. Likewise, the name of the baby is not yet known, though they will join siblings as old as 51.
