Donald Trump is one of the most media-savvy people of recent decades, and beyond the obvious influence derived from his time as a politician and president of the United States, Trump has always had a direct relationship with the screen. The presidential candidate has appeared in several of the most famous films and series of recent years.

Trump’s first recorded film appearance was in 1989’s Ghosts Can’t Do It, in which he played himself. He appeared in just two minutes of the entire film and was widely criticized, but that wasn’t enough to make the businessman abandon his interest in acting.

1. ‘Home Alone 2, Lost in New York’ (1992)

Donald Trump’s most famous cameo was probably in the second installment of ‘Home Alone’. It was once again a fleeting appearance, as he took advantage of the fact that filming was taking place in a hotel he owned to get a few seconds of screen time.

2. ‘Zoolander, a fashionable brainless’ (2001)

This comedy film is packed with cameos from famous personalities, including Donald Trump. Over time, many viewers asked director Ben Stiller to remove Trump’s appearance, but the filmmaker refused.

3. ‘The Little Rascals’ (1994)

The first film in which Trump appeared playing a character other than himself was ‘The Little Rascals’. The businessman and politician played the role of Waldo’s father.

4. ‘Celebrity’ (1998)

Trump has managed to work with true film legends such as Woody Allen, director of ‘Celebrity’. On this occasion he played himself again, and his objective in the fiction was to demolish St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

5. ‘Two Weeks Notice’ (2002)

Another time Trump played a millionaire was in ‘Two Weeks Notice’. The film was directed by Marc Lawrence, and Trump shared the cast with stars such as Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant.
