The long list of women that have accused Trump of improper behavior
A judge has set the date for Donald Trump’s criminal trial involving hush money paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election.
New York Judge Juan Merchan has set the trial date for Donald Trump’s hush money case involving a payout to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Jury selection will begin on April 15, 2024.
In 2018, Daniels claimed that she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and was paid $130,000 to keep quiet about it. Trump denied the affair but eventually admitted to reimbursing his lawyer for the payment to Daniels. The payments, made during his 2016 presidential run, are the central part of a 34 felony-count criminal case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Trump and his legal woes involving improper behavior
Trump has faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior towards women dating back decades.
Earlier this month, he posted a $91.6 million bond to cover the January judgment from writer E. Jean Carroll’s defamation case while he appeals the verdict.
Last spring, a jury held Trump accountable for sexually abusing Carroll and found him liable for defamation in a civil lawsuit brought in 2022.
The journalist claimed that Trump raped her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s. Trump continues to deny the allegations, saying that he had never met Carroll even after he posted the bond, despite a photograph of the two of them together.
Carroll was awarded her $5 million in damages in May, then later another $83.3 million for a separate defamation lawsuit against him in 2019 for comments he made dismissing her claims.
However, she is not the only woman to make claims against Trump.
The women who have spoken out against Donald Trump
In 2016, during his presidential campaign, a recording of Trump surfaced in which he was heard boasting about sexually assaulting women. In the recording, Trump said, “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ‘em by the p***y. You can do anything.”
Following the release of the recording, numerous women came forward accusing Trump of sexual harassment and assault. These allegations date back several decades and include instances of unwanted kissing, groping, and other inappropriate behavior.
One of the most high-profile accusations came from former Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos, who accused Trump of groping her and making unwanted sexual advances during a meeting in 2007. Zervos sued Trump for defamation after he denied the allegations, but the case was later dismissed.

Another accuser, Jessica Leeds, said that Trump groped her on a flight in the 1980s. Rachel Crooks, who worked as a receptionist at Trump Tower, said that Trump kissed her without her consent in 2005. Alva Johnson, who worked on his campaign in 2016, also accused him of kissing her unwarranted.
She withdrew her lawsuit in 2019 and said that she couldn’t “face a judge who openly questions whether the kiss is worthy of a federal lawsuit and has determined that Mr. Trump’s history of such behavior is not relevant, and I’ve endured ongoing threats to my safety.”
Trump has denied all of the allegations and has called his accusers “liars.” He has also suggested that some of the accusers were not attractive enough for him to assault.
