US retail giant Costco are set to launch a new Global Capability Centre, in Hyderabad (India) which is set to handle technology and research operations and set to work alongside global teams. The centre will initially employ 1,000 people with a possibility of increasing that workforce in the future.
The centre will not be a traditional retail warehouse in the way you might find in North America or other markets and will primarily focus on technology and research operations. It will work in close collaboration with Costco’s global teams, essentially serving as a strategic hub to support and drive the company’s worldwide digital expansion and innovation.
