LOTTERY
Time running out for $150,000 Powerball winner to collect: do you have it?
The Powerball lottery authorities are looking for the winner of the big ticket, but the clock is ticking to when the claim can be made.
Powerball is renowned as one of the most popular lotteries in the United States, largely due to its enormous accumulated jackpots. Although the odds of hitting the grand prize are 1 in 292,201,338, players are much more likely to win proportional prizes based on the numbers they match.
Given the numerous possible winning combinations, it’s fairly common to see winners of hundreds of thousands of dollars. One such example is a fortunate lottery ticket bought in Colorado, worth $150,000, which remains unclaimed and is nearing its expiration date.
What are the winning numbers for unclaimed $150,000 Powerball ticket?
According to the official website of the Colorado Lottery, the claims offices are searching for the holder of a $150,000 ticket, which will expire on 24 June, leaving the rightful owner less than a week to claim the prize. It is reported that the winning ticket was purchased at the National Essentials convenience store located at 8100 Pena Blvd, just outside Denver International Airport, on 27 December 2023.
The winning numbers for the ticket are 4, 11, 38, 51, and 68, with the Powerball number 3. The ticket holder matched four of the main numbers plus the Powerball. Lottery players are urged to check their old tickets in case they possess the winning one. If so, they must claim the prize at one of the four Claims Centers, online, or by mail.
What happens to unclaimed lottery funds?
If the prize is not claimed by 24 June, the funds will be donated to the Colorado Lottery’s beneficiary partners, who “help keep our parks, trails, and all outdoor spaces beautiful and accessible,” according to the lottery’s website.

To win the jackpot, you must match all the drawn numbers, including the Powerball. While everyone hopes to hit the grand prize, there are other combinations that can also result in winnings:
