Trump golden statue to dominate Gaza Strip rebuild, as AI aids presidential dreams
Trump shares an AI-generated vision of Gaza as a luxury resort, complete with golden statues, casinos, and a bold plan sparking global debate.

We often say that a controversial political decision ‘raises eyebrows’. But what if a proposal is so far out from the norm, brought to life by the pixelated joys of artificial intelligence, that your eyebrows would have to be described as hovering above your head to be fair to the saying?
Step forward President of the United States, Donald Trump, who has shared an AI-generated video on his Truth Social platform, depicting a radically transformed Gaza Strip. The video paints a picture of Gaza as a luxurious tourist haven, complete with golden Trump statues, opulent casinos, and high-end resorts. This digital fantasy aligns with Trump’s earlier proposal to redevelop Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East” – a plan that hinges on relocating its current residents to neighboring countries. Sensitive territory indeed.
A glimpse into Trump’s Gaza vision
The video opens with a stark contrast: the war-torn landscape of present-day Gaza fades into a vibrant, futuristic metropolis. At its heart stands a towering “Trump Gaza” hotel, surrounded by bustling casinos, pristine beaches, and a massive golden statue of Trump himself. Familiar faces make cameos, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lounging poolside with Trump – non-alcoholic beverages in hand, of course – and tech mogul Elon Musk dining on the beach, tossing dollar bills into the air as dancers perform nearby. It’s worth noting that the dancers appear to be scantily-clad bearded men.
It’s a dazzling vision, but one that raises more questions than it answers. Take a look for yourself.
U.S. President Donald J. Trump has posted this AI video and song on Truth Social, claiming to show the “future” of the Gaza Strip, I’m seriously at a loss for words right now. pic.twitter.com/cMOyzkM5PM

While the video’s extravagant imagery has captured attention, the underlying proposal, which has been weeks, at least, in the making has drawn sharp criticism. At its core, the plan suggests the displacement of approximately two million Palestinians to neighboring nations – a move many have condemned as forced relocation. Imagine another country came and demanded that they were taking over Florida!
Arab countries, including Egypt and Jordan, have firmly rejected the idea, refusing to absorb Gaza’s population. The United Nations has also weighed in, with officials labeling the proposal as “ethnic cleansing” and reiterating that Gaza remains an integral part of a future Palestinian state.
Trump’s unwavering stance
Despite the backlash, Trump remains undeterred. He has suggested that the U.S. could “take over” and “own” Gaza, overseeing its redevelopment to create “unlimited amounts of jobs and housing for the people of the area.” However, the feasibility of such a plan is highly questionable. The political, ethical, and logistical challenges involved are immense, and the international community’s resistance only adds to the complexity.
I feel physically sick at Trump’s Gaza clip. I just can’t comprehend how a human being could be so vile.

Oh, unless, of course, this is just another attempt to deflect attention away from all the Americans being fired and other very questionable actions being taken by unelected bureaucrats like Musk under Trump’s leadership.
