The reach and, in many occasions, the power of celebrity has never been more powerful than now and ahead of the 2024 US Elections, there is no contest when it comes to which candidate has the power of celebrity backing.

Whilst Donald Trump can count on the likes of Kid Rock, Mel Gibson, Jake Paul and Hulk Hogan, Kamala Harris can count on some of the biggest names from the world of music and film fighting her corner.

‘Childless Cat Lady’

Arguably the biggest pop music phenomenon on planet earth currently, Taylor Swift posted a lengthy message on her Instagram account explaing her reasons for supporting Kamala Harris.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader”, claimed the singer-songwriter who is wrapping up her extensive and record breaking Eras Tour.

Swift signed off a ‘childless cat lady’, a barbed reference to JD Vance’s comments that the US was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies,” including Vice President Harris.

The actors who star in Marvel’s The Avengers regrouped for a conference call shared by Hulk star Mark Ruffalo to show their support for Kamala Harris.

Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson, Captain America star Chris Evans, and Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr all feature in the video, along with Don Cheadle and British star Paul Bettany as they look for a catch phrase to boost Kamala’s election campaign coming up with #DownWithDemocracy.

Another of the biggest names in contemporary music, Beyonce Knowles appeared on stage at a Democratic rally in Texas last week to add her voice to support Kamala Harris.

The 43-year-old stated: “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother,” Beyoncé said at a campaign rally for Harris.

“A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we’re not divided,” she said in Houston.

“Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations,” she continued. “We must vote, and we need you.”
