What are the winning numbers for Monday’s $650 million Powerball jackpot?
The Powerball jackpot continues to grow after no winner was chosen during the last drawing, now over half a billion dollars at $650 million. Were you lucky?
Week after week is passing with no players taking home the jackpot. In a recent Powerball drawing we topped half a billion dollars, and anticipation is rising alongside the jackpot on offer. Now we, and everyone holding a ticket, looked ahead to Monday’s draw and a jackpot prize worth $650 million.
The burgeoning size of the current jackpot is now approaching $754.6 million prize in the Powerball lottery won earlier this year, but is still a long way off from the $2.04 billion jackpot won in November, the largest ever.

What are the odds of winning Powerball?
As the sum of a jackpot grows, so does the number of players hoping to win. While the chances of winning huge cash prizes are always low, the lower the sum, the higher one’s chances of winning.
Millions played when a record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball prize - the largest in US lottery history- was up for grabs last year. The winner, who became an overnight billionaire, bought their ticket in California.
Powerball breaks down the odds for players, highlighting the unlikelihood that a player takes home the Grand Prize, calculating the probability as one in over 292 million. However, one’s odds increases significantly when selecting just one or two correct numbers. For guessing just one number correctly, the odds of winning increase to 1 in 38.32, which usually lands someone a whopping $4.

Rules of the game: Powerball
In Powerball, players must select five numbers between 1 and 69, and one additional “Powerball” number between 1 and 26. One does not need to get all six numbers to win some cash. However, the more numbers correctly guessed, the larger the prize becomes.
There are three drawings a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The jackpot grows after each drawing if no winner takes home the grand prize.
What are Power Play and Double Play?
If players pay $1 extra for Power Play, their winnings will be multiplied by two, three, four, five, or ten, depending on the multiplier number picked out of the hat before the draw takes place. Power Play isn’t applied to the jackpot, and the multiplier is never higher than two if you win the $1M second prize.
For an additional $1, a player’s numbers can also be entered into a second draw, known as Double Play, with a maximum jackpot of $10M.
