Powerball is offering a top prize of $747 million for the big Monday night drawing. We have the winning numbers and all you need to know.

Update:
Friday's Powerball winning numbers

Once again, there was no winner of the Powerball grand prize on Wednesday night, meaning that the jackpot has increased to an estimated $747 million for tonight’s draw. This is a whopping $47 million increase in the past two days.

If there is no winner in this draw then the rollover jackpot could soon reach the top ten largest United States’ lottery jackpots.

Monday’s Powerball numbers

The winning numbers for Monday, 6 February are 5-11-22-23-69 and the Powerball is 7. The Power Play is 2X.

What were Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers?

The Saturday, 4 February Powerball draw took place in Florida at 11pm ET. The winning numbers are 2-8-15-19-58 and the Powerball is 10. The Power Play is 2X.

What are the odds of winning Powerball?

As the sum grows, so does the number of players hoping to win. While the chances of winning huge cash prizes are always low, the lower the sum, the higher one’s chances of winning.

Millions played when a record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball prize - the largest in US lottery history - was up for grabs last year. The winner, who became an overnight billionaire, bought their ticket in California.

Powerball breaks down the odds for players, highlighting the unlikelihood that a player takes home the Grand Prize, calculating the probability as one in over 292 million. However, one’s odd increases significantly when selecting just one or two correct numbers. For guessing just one number correctly, the odds of winning increase to 1 in 38.32, which usually lands someone a whopping $4.

Here is the data in detail, provided by Powerball.

Rules of the game: Powerball

In Powerball, players must select five numbers between 1 and 69, and one additional “Powerball” number between 1 and 26. One does not need to get all six numbers to win some cash. However, the more numbers correctly guessed, the larger the prize becomes.

There are three drawings a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The jackpot grows after each drawing if no winner takes home the grand prize.

What are Power Play and Double Play?

If players pay $1 extra for Power Play, their winnings will be multiplied by two, three, four, five, or ten, depending on the multiplier number picked out of the hat before the draw takes place. Power Play isn’t applied to the jackpot, and the multiplier is never higher than two if you win the $1m second prize.

For an additional $1, a player’s numbers can also be entered into a second draw, known as Double Play, with a maximum jackpot of $10m.
