Many fans of “Better Call Saul” figured it was only a matter of time before all their favorite characters from “Breaking Bad” would appear together in the sequel/prequel to the iconic TV series. Co-Creator Peter Gould confirmed that the final season of “Better Call Saul”, set to drop Monday 18 April on AMC, will feature appearances from Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.

The announcement came at the PaleyFest LA, where the cast and Gould gave fans a sneak peek of “Better Call Saul” season 6 and heard first-hand what to expect from the upcoming two-part final season. Although we know that Walter White and Jessie Pinkman will appear, Gould made sure not to let all the cats out of the bag though, and was coy about exactly when and how.

What do we know about Brian Cranston and Aaron Paul appearance in “Better Call Saul” season 6?

Gould’s announcement didn’t really come as a surprise, Vince Gilligan, also co-creator of “Better Call Saul”, told Variety at the premiere just days before, “It would be a damn shame if the show ended without [Walt and Jessie] appearing, would it not?” At the same event, Gould gave a teaser of things to come saying “These two worlds cross over in a way that you haven’t seen before, that’s for sure.”

On Saturday’s panel Q&A, Gould cut to the chase, “I don’t want to spoil things for the audience,” he said. “But I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah.”

Gould made sure to just wet our appetite and no more saying, “How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season.” Bob Odenkirk, who plays the lead character Jimmy McGill, aka Saul Goodman the namesake of show, almost spilled the beans teasingly, “If you can believe it, there’s more.”

When and where to watch the sixth season of “Better Call Saul”?

It’s been a long wait for the final season of “Better Call Saul”. Covid-19 and a health scare, in July Odenkirk suffered a heart attack while filming in New Mexico, delayed the release of season 6 until now.

The last season of “Better Call Saul” will have three more episodes than the previous five seasons. The 13 episodes will be split into two parts, the first seven episodes will kick off on 18 April on AMC at 9 pm ET. The final six episodes will start broadcasting 11 July 2022.
