Woman asks doctor for medical advice: “She recommended I eat at McDonald’s”
The content creator known as Adriianitamaillo shared on TikTok what this doctor's solution was after visiting her.

The figure of the doctor has historically been synonymous with authority, knowledge and trust. And rightly so – their training is extensive, rigorous and, in many cases, backed by years of clinical experience. But while it’s crucial to respect the work they do, it’s also important to acknowledge an uncomfortable truth: doctors don’t always give the best advice.
This doc was ba-da-ba-ba-baaa, lovin’ it
That’s exactly what content creator Adriianitamaillo revealed in a TikTok video, where she shared the bizarre solution a doctor once gave her after she sought help for rapid and unexplained weight loss. “Some people are blown away by this story,” she says.
“I was living in a student residence in Madrid and, honestly, I was eating very little because the food was awful. Sometimes there was barely any protein in either lunch or dinner. I started getting really thin. I was getting sick constantly because I wasn’t eating properly, and I didn’t have any food in my room either,” she begins.
“So I went to the doctor – not because I wasn’t eating much, since I hadn’t yet made the connection between my poor nutrition and how often I was getting sick – and do you know what the doctor said to me? She asked if there was a McDonald’s nearby where I could eat lunch or dinner. I thought her answer was outrageous. And she was being completely serious – she clearly meant well – but as soon as I heard that, I decided I’d never go back to see that woman again. There are so many professionals who have no idea how harmful ultra-processed foods are,” she adds.

Ultra-processed foods
In recent decades, modern diets have undergone a profound transformation. The food industry, eager to offer products that are quick, long-lasting and appealing, has filled supermarkets and fast food chains with ultra-processed foods – industrially manufactured products made with multiple ingredients, many of them synthetic or unrecognizable to the average consumer. Although convenient, these foods pose a growing threat to public health.
Ultra-processed foods are made primarily from industrial ingredients such as refined oils, added sugars, trans fats, additives, flavorings and preservatives. Unlike fresh or minimally processed foods – like fruits, vegetables, legumes or natural meats – ultra-processed products aren’t designed to nourish, but to sell. As a result, they’ve been linked to conditions such as obesity, diabetes and cancer.
