Woman’s eyes work like X-Rays - and experts still can’t explain why
Natasha Demkina possesses a superhuman ability that even scientists can’t explain: X-ray vision.

Superheroes only exist in movies and comics—or maybe not. People always dream about the possibility of flying, teleporting, or becoming invisible… But reality quickly sets in. For Natasha Demkina (Saransk, Russia, 38 years old), these abilities are not just wild imagination. She has the rare ability to see through the human body, as if she had X-ray vision.
At just 17 years old, during an interview on the British TV show “This Morning,” Demkina was able to correctly identify presenter Fern Britton’s injured ankle. A feat that left scientists baffled. By the age of 10, Natasha had already begun to develop a special ability: she could see inside the human body. According to her, she could perceive details of organs, bones, tumors, and other internal conditions without the need for medical imaging technology like X-rays or MRIs.

This caught the attention of Russian media, and soon, her story gained international recognition after that interview and others for Japanese and American TV networks.
Scientific tests and a dose of skepticism
With her rising fame, “the girl with X-ray vision” attracted the interest of the scientific community. In 2005, Natasha was invited to take part in a controlled study conducted by British professionals. In this test, she was monitored by a group of doctors and radiologists to determine if she could truly see inside the human body without medical equipment.
However, the results were controversial. While some researchers present claimed Natasha had made some correct observations, critics argued that the findings were inconclusive and did not prove the existence of an actual X-ray vision ability.

With such an ambiguous verdict, the scientific community remained skeptical, suggesting that her ability could be a psychological phenomenon or an unconscious interpretation of physical cues and visible details, rather than a paranormal gift. Nevertheless, to this day, Natasha’s talent continues to spark interest, especially in the fields of parapsychology and unexplained phenomena.
At 38 years old, with a significant presence in the world of extrasensory perception, Natasha Demkina remains a fascinating figure fueling the mystery of superpowers. Another example that makes people ask the classic question: Do superheroes really exist?
