The big absences from Avengers: Doomsday: Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch...
Marvel Studios has announced the impressive cast for the next Avengers film, though some major MCU names are missing.

Yesterday, Marvel Studios unveiled the promising cast for ’Avengers: Doomsday’, the upcoming multiversal crossover directed by the Russo brothers, during an online event that lasted several hours. A total of 27 actors were confirmed to return to their usual MCU roles, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, and Anthony Mackie as Captain America. The new Fantastic Four, led by Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, were also revealed, alongside the return of much of the original X-Men cast. The spotlight, however, was on Robert Downey Jr., who makes his Marvel comeback as Doctor Doom. Despite the star-studded lineup, many fan-favorites are notably absent.
