Good news for Dodgers fans: Dave Roberts announces when Freddie Freeman will return from the injured list
Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Freddie Freeman is set to make his return to the lineup just in time to save the team from their slump.

The Los Angeles Dodgers logged their first win in the last four games over the Washington Nationals last night. And their fortune should go up from there as they’re soon to see the return of All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman to the lineup on Friday.
Freddie Freeman returns to Dodgers lineup
Freeman has played in three games so far this season and has gone 3-for-12 with two home runs and an OPS of 1.083. But last week, he re-aggravated an old ankle injury in a fluke incident.
He was using his guest shower due to a leak in his main shower, and slipped while getting in. Fortunately, the X-rays came back clean and he was going through daily treatment to get back on track quickly.
On Wednesday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed that Freeman would return to the lineup on Friday when the Dodgers start their series against the Chicago Cubs, after having missed nine games.

While Freeman was out, Kiké Hernández filled in at first base, and although he hit four home runs, he’s hit at just .103 on the season.
Freeman will return just in time for his bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium on Friday to commemorate his walk-off grand slam in the World Series last season.
