The World Series is heading into Game 3, and the Philadelphia Phillies will enjoy home field advantage as they host the Houston Astros at Citizens Bank Park.

Underdog Philadelphia bounced back from a 0-5 deficit to deal the Astros a heartbreaking Game 1 loss, 6-5. In Game 2, Houston again stormed to an early 5-0 lead, but this time were able to hold on and eventually prevail 5-2 to even the series.

The games now move to Philadelphia, and Houston will face the famous Phillies fans, who have been noisily supportive of their team throughout the whole postseason. The hosts have a record of 5-0 at home this month.

Astros vs. Phillies starting pitchers

Lance McCullers Jr. will start as pitcher for the Astros, his third time in the playoffs, while the Phillies will field Noah Syndergaard, who started against the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of the National League Division Series. Both teams have reported no injuries for their next matchup.
