How many home runs will Aaron Judge hit in 2023?
Aaron Judge broke American League home run records in 2022, hitting 62 with the New York Yankees. Will he be able to replicate or surpass the feat?
After learning that Aaron Judge will continue playing with the New York Yankees, the next question that springs to mind is: how many home runs will he be able to hit during the 2023 MLB season?
Judge has just finished a historic campaign in 2022, since he broke the record for home runs that existed in the American League by launching 62 homers.
The record was previously set by the iconic legend Roger Maris with 61 home runs, and this number had been unchallenged since 1961.
Aaron Judge’s projected 2023 numbers
According to the specialized portal Baseball Reference, the projection of the numbers of Judge for the following season will be diminished.
For the number of home runs, they predict that the total will hit 41; in batting average he would get .288, down from last season’s .311.
He is also projected to go down in RBIs, where he would also have a considerable decrease. He was the leader in the MLB in this area in 2022, and now he is expected to go from 131 to 99.
