Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres is back in the MLB All-Star Game. The Dominican player walked the red carpet alongside his wife, Yainee Alonso, who has been one of his biggest sources of support throughout his career.

Yainee is a private person who prefers to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, and she doesn’t have a social media presence. However, the Padres star often shares photos of her on Instagram. According to several reports, Alonso was born on November 24, 1990, in Havana, Cuba, making her 34 years old.

Yainee and Manny got married over 10 years ago, in November 2014, after dating for a couple of years and getting engaged in 2013. The couple welcomed their first child in 2024. In late April, Machado was placed on the paternity list and missed the Padres’ first game against the Colorado Rockies to be by Yainee’s side.

In addition to her connection to MLB through Machado, Yainee is also the sister of former MLB first baseman and current MLB Network analyst Yonder Alonso. Yonder played for the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Guardians (formerly Indians), Chicago White Sox, and Colorado Rockies.

Over the years, Yainee has proven to be Manny’s greatest support system, standing by his side throughout his professional career—whether cheering from home, traveling to his games, or attending major MLB events.
